Department of Chemical Engineering, ICL provides up to 10 Fully funded scholarships for PhD studies in London. The standard period of the scholarship is 42 months. The scholarships are open to all applicants regardless of their fee status. Further, the scholarship covers both tuition fees as well as an annual tax-free contribution to maintenance costs of £16,553.

Eligibility

Applicants are eligible for the application only if:

• they are in good academic standing and has an honors degree in their master’s program.
• Further, they should apply and obtain a place of an offer in ICL, Department of  Chemical Engineering.
• Also, they should abide by the minimum score for English Language Proficiency set by the institution.

How To Apply

In order to be considered for the Chemical PhD Scholarships, you will need to submit an application for admission through the online admissions system. The Programme is Chemical Engineering Research – Full Time. Your application form must include:

• Full transcripts of your university studies to date
• A personal statement to support your application, which should outline your research interest and experience
• A copy of your English Language certificate
• The contact details of 2 referees, at least one of whom must be an academic referee (for example your project supervisor or personal tutor).

Deadline

The deadline for the application is 31 October 2019 for the program starting in October 2020. Entrants may make a submission for the Chemical Engineering Scholarship in London during this period. Furthermore, this is the round one of the application period. Hence, ICL will have a higher chance of providing scholarships during this period.

Moreover, the application for round 2 will open during early 2020 for the program starting in October 2020.
