Oxford University designed the fully funded Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Program to cultivate the leaders of tomorrow. It provides outstanding university graduates and professionals from developing and emerging economies with the opportunity to pursue fully-funded graduate studies at the University of Oxford. Further, it offers a combined comprehensive program of leadership development, long-term mentoring and networking.

This scholarship is part of the Oxford Graduate Scholarships, which were established through a ground-breaking new matched funding initiative to enable the creation of fully-funded scholarships for graduate students of the highest caliber from across the world. The University contributes 40% of the funds for these scholarships, together with 60% from generous donations provided by supporters of the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust, including Fondation Hoffmann.

Fully Funded Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships at Oxford University

The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships at Oxford University are fully funded. Moreover, the scholarship covers 100% of course fees as well as provide a grant for living costs. The students will receive at least £15,009 stipend payable monthly. The students will receive the awards for the full duration of their fee liability for the agreed course.

Eligibility for the Fully Funded Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships

Oxford University considers an applicant eligible for the Fully Funded Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Program if they meet the following requirements:

  • Postgraduate candidates must be from eligible countries taking up an eligible master’s degree at the Oxford University.
  • Further, the students must return to their country of ordinary residence immediately after completing the course. Students currently at Oxford are not eligible to apply unless they are already Weidenfeld-Hoffmann scholars.
  • Likewise, the applicants should be able to demonstrate a connection between their subject of study and their longer-term career objectives. Further, they should be able to explain clearly how their professional work will contribute to the improvement of public life in your country of origin or at a wider regional or international level.

How to apply for the Fully Funded Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships

Candidates can apply for the Fully Funded Oxford Scholarships and Leadership Program by completing the online application. However, the candidates, at first, must apply for the graduate program. During the graduate program’s application, the applicants must mention that they are applying for the aforementioned scholarship. Moreover, for the scholarship consideration, the applicants must submit their application before the respective course deadline.

In the next step, the applicants must also complete a Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships Statement and upload it, together with the graduate application form.

Deadline

Oxford University accepts the application for the Fully Funded Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Program until 10 January 2020. Moreover, the deadline varies by the course of study.
