RMI’s Energy Transition Academy (ETA) is proud to introduce the Global Women in Clean Energy Fellowship Program 2025, a groundbreaking initiative that reinforces its commitment to accelerating the global energy transition by cultivating and empowering women leaders across the Global South. This transformative program is designed to build technical capacity, leadership skills, and a strong professional network among emerging female professionals in the clean energy sector. The inaugural fellowship cohort is set to begin this June 2025 in Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Zambia, marking a significant step toward a more inclusive and equitable clean energy future.
Developed in collaboration with both local and international partners—including the Africa Minigrids Program—this fellowship is designed to promote a more inclusive and equitable clean energy workforce. RMI encourages passionate women who aspire to drive change in the clean energy sector to apply for and help spread the word about the Global Women in Clean Energy Fellowship.
This 5-month virtual fellowship starting June 16, 2025 will provide:

The fellowship is open for 50 women and takes place online for 5 months starting from June 16th, 2025, with a mix of asynchronous learning and biweekly live sessions of 1.5 hours each. Total monthly time commitment from June to October 2025 is anticipated to be around 15 hours.
