Halcyon Climate Fellowship Program 2025 for Latin America and the Caribbean

Applications are open for the Halcyon Climate Fellowship Program 2025 for Latin America and the Caribbean. The program aims to empower entrepreneurs across Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) addressing climate mitigation, adaptation, and resilience. Founders gain expert training, critical resources to accelerate their ventures, and two one-week, in-person residencies in the region to accelerate their ventures.

The seek solutions addressing climate mitigation, adaptation, and resilience including but not limited to:

• Renewable Energy Generation and Storage
• Green Building Technologies
• Climate Data and Analytics
• Climate Smart Agriculture and Food Systems
• WaterTech
• Blue Economy

Benefits of Halcyon Climate Fellowship

Each program includes specific benefits to fellows. Fellows accepted into this program will receive the following:

• A $5,000 USD per venture equity-free stipend to use toward travel expenses to attend the residencies
• $10,000 USD in Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) Cloud credits
• Workshops with experts on:
  • Product-market fit
  • Investment readiness
  • Leadership
• Professional advisors
• Networking with investors and varied stakeholders in climate
• A worldwide community of nearly 600 impact-driven entrepreneurs and more!

Eligibility for Halcyon Climate Fellowship

They are looking for (for-profit) startups that are building scalable solutions that are tackling challenges related to climate change.

• Location: Must have your venture based in and/or serving Latin America and the Caribbean.
• Stage: Must have at least a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that has the potential to scale. Must be working on your venture full-time.
• Team: 
  • May apply with up to one co-founder
  • Applicant must be the CEO and/or hold primary decision-making power
  • Must be fluent in English (program delivered in English)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age by the start of the program
• Program Engagement: Must be able to participate in all activities and programming sessions
• Impact: Must be developing a product and venture which contributes towards 1 or more of the UN’s 17 SDGs

In addition to eligibility, Halcyon scores each application based on 4 criteria: Impact, Scalability, Innovation, and Talent.
