Israel Asia Center invites application for Leaders Fellowships 2019. The program is part-time and is designed to supplement Israeli and Asian young professionals’ areas of expertise and students’ existing university study programs in Israel.

What is the Israel Asia Fellowships program?

The Israel Asia Leaders Fellowships develops and invests in future leaders in Israel-Asia relations. It provides Israeli and Asian young professionals as well as students living in Israel with the high-level access, contacts, skills-set and support network necessary to build long-term, strategic partnerships between Israel and Asia in their professional fields.

By participating in the Israel-Asia Leaders Fellowship, you will be part of a select group of young leaders, as well as,  gain high-level access, contacts, skills-set and support network necessary to build long-term, strategic partnerships between Israel and Asia through your professional career.

Who is eligible for Israel Asia Leaders Fellowships?

The ideal candidate for the Israel-Asia Leaders Fellowship is someone who is passionate about developing Israel-Asia relations and making an impact. We define leaders as ‘people who dare to dream and do’. Further, the Leadership fellowships program aims to unlock your potential as well as strengthen your ability to influence Israel-Asia relations in your specific field.

Here is the list of eligibility requirements for Israel Asia Leaders Fellowships:

• Candidates must be from an Asian Country
• Likewise, living in Israel over the 2019-20 academic year, from October-May
• Further, comfortable and capable in English (spoken and written)
• Moreover, a passion for promoting Israel-Asia relations in your field of interest
• Pro-active with proven leadership skills
• Also, eager to learn and apply themselves to new challenges

How to apply for the Israel Asia Leaders Fellowships?

Applications will be assessed on a rolling basis, so we encourage you not to wait until the last minute to apply. Applicants may apply via the online portal. After shortlisting, the candidates will require to take an interview with the AsiaIsrale Center. Interviews will take place mid to late July 2019, or in August for Israeli candidates.

For candidates who are already in Israel, interviews will be conducted in person. For candidates who have not yet arrived in Israel, interviews will be conducted via skype calls.

Deadline

Israel Asia Center accepts the Leadership Fellowships application until July 10, 2019. The center, however, doesn’t entertain applications arriving after the deadline.
