Mercer Mettl Scholarship for Emerging Leaders aims to assist young leaders who show an exceptional flair for leadership and have the mettle to be dynamic business leaders of tomorrow.

All submitted photos, videos, and essays must be original work of the applicant. One student may only submit one application per year. Moreover, duplicate entries will lead to disqualification.

Mercer Mettl Scholarship for Emerging Leaders

The financial aid officer or any equivalent authority will disburse the Mercer Mettl Scholarship for Emerging Leaders to three successful recipients. Each of the recipients will receive the scholarship in the form of tuition fees, books, hostel fees, etc. Further, Mercer Mettl blogs and social media account will also feature the recipients.

Eligibility for the Mercer Mettl Scholarship

In order to be eligible for the Mercer Mettl Scholarship for Emerging Leaders, students must have:

• Minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent scale.
• Students of all courses are eligible for this scholarship.
• The student must have proof of enrollment in a degree course from a recognized university or college.
• Employees of Mercer I Mettl, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee, are not eligible for this scholarship.

Selection

The Selection Procedure will be as follow:

• Each of the judges will assess some candidates. Hence, each candidate will be rated twice while keeping the candidate’s identity anonymous.
• The judges will then rate the candidates on a scale of 1-10 based on their response to the scholarship application form for leadership skills like developing people, entrepreneurial mindset, influence, critical thinking, etc.
• Based on the judge’s response, candidates’ academic performance and other social initiatives, the selection committee will calculate a score to shortlist the top 5 candidates.
• After that, a panel of judges will evaluate each candidate’s profile to select the final winner.

How to apply for the Mercer Mettl Scholarship?

Application for the Mercer Mettl Scholarship is available online for eligible students to complete. While filling the application, the candidates must provide a CV, an essay as well as a letter of motivation. Also, the candidates must provide letters of recommendation to apply for the scholarship.

Deadline

Mercer Mettl accepts the application for the Emerging Leaders Scholarships until 16 December 2019. Applications arriving after the deadline are not eligible for the scholarship.
