Musicians Institute offers many different types of music scholarships to help international students with tuition during their enrollment at MI. Scholarships are available for both Newly Enrolling and Currently Enrolled students. Moreover, the Institute has created the International Musicians Merit Scholarship specifically to assist advanced musicians from outside the United States with their educational development.

The scholarships at Musicians Institute depend on a number of factors including academic merit, need basis, musical talent, and so on. Moreover, this scholarship requires international students to demonstrate outstanding merit in musical talents.

What does the Musicians Institute offer for International Music Scholarships?

International Music Scholarships are available to students who demonstrate academic merit. Moreover, an award of $1,000 per quarter is payable to the successful candidates. The scholarships are payable towards tuition fee only.

Are you Eligible for International Music Scholarships

• Available to International students with a valid F-1 visa only.
• Scholarship applicants must submit a complete Application for Admission. Further, they must be entering the program for the first time.
• Applicable to Certificate or Degree in Guitar, Bass, Vocal, Drum, or Keyboard Performance programs or Degree in Music Composition program. (MI Select and MI Select Express programs are not eligible.)
• Award recipients will be notified two to three weeks after the application due date.
• However, the scholarships are not transferrable.

How To Apply for Musicians Institute Scholarships

To apply for the Music Scholarships, international students must complete and submit scholarship applications before the due date. However, applications that are incomplete are not eligible for scholarships consideration.

Moreover, the candidates must apply for the Music Scholarships online after applying for a place at the institute. The candidates must also maintain a 3.5 GPA for the continuation of the scholarship. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria set by the Musicians Institute are not considered for the scholarship.

Deadline

Applicants may apply for the Musicians Institute scholarships until June 2, 2019, for the summer semester. Applications arriving postdeadline neither considered for scholarships nor a place at the institution. However, the applicants may choose to enroll for the fall semester. The deadline for the fall semester is August 30, 2019.
