The Division of Biology at Kansas State University is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellowship for a full-time open position in the Baral Lab. The Baral laboratory’s research focuses on neuroimmune interactions in the respiratory tract, innate immunity, and host-pathogen interactions.

Requirements

Candidates must have the following qualifications to be eligible for Postdoctoral Fellowship at Kansas State University

  • Ph.D. in microbiology, immunology, or relevant biological field.
  • Extensive experience within vivo animal model of infection, bacterial/viral culture techniques, flow cytometry, tissue culture, and immunofluorescence microscopy is necessary.
  • A strong background in standard microbiology and molecular/cellular biology techniques.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, enthusiasm for the research, and desire to work are a must.
  • Strong track record of productive research demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications.
  • In addition, the ideal candidate will work both independently and as part of a team as well as provide both intellectual and technical input on the projects.

Funding

$ 47,476-$ 53,000 annual salary
