Applications call for Royal Society International Exchange Program 2020 in London

The Royal Society provides International Exchange Schemes offers a flexible platform for UK based scientists to interact with the best scientists around the world. Funds for a contribution towards travel, subsistence and research expenses can be requested for either a one-off short visit to explore opportunities for building lasting networks or for bilateral visits to strengthen emerging collaborations.

This scheme does not support continued research activities between a UK applicant and a co-applicant who was a former colleague or Ph.D. student or to support other existing or recent collaborations between the applicant and co-applicant. Rather, the scheme intends to stimulate new collaborations between scientists in the UK and overseas.

The Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program is meant to foster a worldwide community of shared interests and values developed through better mutual affection via first-hand participation of highschool students from countries with significant Muslim populations within the school year or semester exchanges to the US. The program seeks to pick students with leadership potential, to develop their leadership skills while within the U.S., and to support them in alumni activities after they return home.

United Nations Youth Volunteers Program- Fully Funded

Applications are open for the fully funded United Nations Youth Volunteers Programme. The application deadline for the program is 13th September 2020.

Each year, the Swiss Government finances up to 30 United Nations Youth Volunteer (UNYV) positions. UNYV assignments, which last one year, are a unique opportunity to learn, discover the multilateral system and kick-start your career in the area of international cooperation. This program is reserved for Swiss nationals only, therefore the number of applicants is relatively low.

To ensure one can fully immerse in these assignments, all travel, relocation, life and health insurance costs are covered by the programme and a monthly living allowance is paid.
