The Young Forest Champions Initiative, under the AIM4Forests programme, is a dynamic opportunity for youth in Kenya, Zambia, Uganda, Ghana, and Peru to take the lead in forest conservation and climate action. This initiative selects 10 young leaders per country, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and network to drive meaningful environmental change.
As part of a global network of changemakers, participants will collaborate, innovate, and advocate for sustainable forest management, biodiversity protection, and climate resilience. Through mentorship, training, and hands-on projects, they will gain the expertise needed to influence policies, mobilize communities, and create long-term impact.
Forests are vital for the planet, yet they face increasing threats. This is your chance to be at the forefront of conservation efforts, working alongside like-minded young leaders to protect ecosystems and fight climate change. If you’re passionate about making a difference and shaping a greener future, step up and become a Young Forest Champion.
Take action today and be a force for change!
