AT&T invites Internship application for Software Development in the UK. Further, AT&T Labs is at the heart of AT&T’s engineering organization, and following the recent acquisition of the Vyatta software router, we are looking for a summer intern interested in software development/test, to participate in new software features and to help with the development of our automation infrastructure.

Your Role as a Software Development Intern at AT&T

As a potential candidate, you are currently working towards your degree in a discipline relating computer, someone who is inquisitive and excels at problem-solving. You are comfortable with software development in C, Python, Perl or similar on Linux platforms (exposure to git, BitBucket, Atlassian, Jenkins, and Robot would be a bonus), you can demonstrate an ability to work effectively in a distributed team, own the delivery on your deadlines and commitments and are unafraid of new challenges.

What do you need to for AT&T Software Development Internship?

Software Engineers will require the following experiences for the AT&T Internship:

• Good command in software development platform including an excellent understanding of programming languages such as C, Python, Perl.
• Further, applicants should have a good understanding of computer networking, Linux and open source.
• Also, candidates should have a sound academic background.
• Student studying towards a Computer Science degree or masters, preferably in their penultimate year (i.e. graduating in summer 2020).
