Applications are open for the government scholarship in different countries and for various academic degree and levels. These scholarships are fully funded as well as partially funded.
Each year the Swiss Confederation awards Government Excellence Scholarships to promote international exchange and research cooperation between Switzerland and over 180 other countries. The Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS) selects the recipients of the scholarship. Moreover, the fully funded Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships aim young researchers from abroad who have completed a master’s degree or PhD and at foreign artists holding a bachelor’s degree.

The Vanier CGS program aims to attract and retain world-class doctoral students. For the academic session of 2020, the Chinese Government is endowing fully funded scholarship to International Students for postgraduate studies. The scholarship is available at the Northeast Agricultural University (NEAU) which is among the 279 universities responsible for educating students under Chinese Government Scholarship Program. The Government of China offers this scholarship in order to promote friendship and understanding between people in China and abroad as well as develop communication and cooperation in aspects of politics, economics, culture, and education.
The Finnish National Agency for Education (EDUFI)awards scholarships for foreign Doctoral level students and young researches to carry out postgraduate studies and research and teaching in Finnish universities. Scholarships aim mainly Doctoral level students who will be doing their whole Doctorate or Double Doctorate at a Finnish university. Visiting Doctoral level students and researchers who are doing their Doctorate degree at some foreign university are also eligible if they provide the motivation letter of the hosting Finnish university department presents exceptionally good grounds for such an application.
The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) provided fully funded Dutch Government scholarship to international students. Moreover, it has provided fellowships for professionals from 51 countries is currently being phased out. The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs had initiated and funded the program. The aim of the programme was to help reduce the shortage of skilled workers in the selected countries, through training courses and programs. Moreover, the Dutch higher education institutions were responsible for education and training.

The South Korean Government announces the application open for 2020 fully funded Global Korea Scholarship. The Global Scholarship is open for all international students who are looking for opportunities to advance their undergraduate as well as a graduate degree. Further, the Government endows this scholarship in order to promote international exchanges in education and mutual friendship between countries.

Applications are open for the Fully Funded Mexico Government Scholarship 2020. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), through the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), summons foreigners interested in studying in Mexico, at the levels of specialty, master’s, doctorate and postgraduate research, as well as undergraduate and graduate student mobility programs, to participate in the “Call for Excellence Scholarships of the Government of Mexico for Foreigners 2019”. The Call is offered to more than 180 countries, within the framework of bilateral agreements, multilateral mechanisms, and special agreements.

The Irish Government Postgraduate Scholarship is unique in the Irish research landscape and complements other channels for fully funded postgraduate education in the Irish eco-system.

The New Zealand Aid Programme invests money, knowledge, and skills to help deliver sustainable development and reduce poverty in developing countries. It also provides humanitarian support to save lives and relieve suffering resulting from natural disasters and conflict. New Zealand Government Scholarship is a full tertiary scholarship for eligible international students to study fulltime at a New Zealand education institution or a Pacific University.
Australia Awards Scholarships are long-term awards administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Moreover, they aim to contribute to the development needs of Australia’s partner countries in line with bilateral and regional agreements. In addition, they provide opportunities for people from developing countries, particularly those countries located in the Indo-Pacific region, to undertake full time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions. Furthermore, the study and research opportunities provided by Australia Awards Scholarships develop the skills and knowledge of individuals to drive change and contribute to development in their own countries.

The scholarships offer foreign graduates from development and newly industrialised countries from all disciplines and with at least two years’ professional experience the chance to take a postgraduate or Master’s degree at a state or state-recognised German university, and in exceptional cases to take a doctoral degree, and to obtain a university qualification (Master’s/PhD) in Germany.
The Fully Funded US Government Fullbright Scholarship Program enables graduate students, young professionals, and artists, from abroad to study and conduct research in the United States. The Fulbright Foreign Student Program operates in more than 155 countries worldwide. Approximately 4,000 foreign students receive Fulbright scholarships each year. The Fulbright Foreign Student Program is administered by binational Fulbright Commissions/Foundations or U.S. Embassies. All Foreign Student Program applications are processed by these offices.
In 2014, the U.S. Government’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) started the flagship program Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders. Since its establishment, nearly 4,400 young leaders from every country in Africa has participated in the Fellowship program. Now, again for the session of 2020, the YALI invites application for the fully funded Mandela Washington Fellowship. The Mandela Washington Fellowship provides expansive opportunities for African leaders in their personality development, while also empowering young people through academic coursework, leadership training, and networking. The fellows are accomplished leaders and have established records of promoting innovation and positive impact in their communities and countries.
